RECORD IN BRITAIN (Received June 14, Noon) LONDON, June 13 The sum of £27,452,683. the highest figure yet recorded for one week’# small savings and representing m sum of £1 0s 2d a head, is announced today. This beats the previous record saved in the week ending June 5 by nearly £1,000,000 c.nd compares with £11,574,457 for the corresponding week of last year.
