Squadron-Leader P. K. Fowler, of Auckland, is at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr H. Davis, of Palmerston North, is staying at the Commercial Hotel. Mr F. Roberts, of Masterton and a former resident of Hamilton, is visiting this town. Dr. Ulric Williams, who has been visiting Hamilton returns to Wanganui today.
Lieutenant J. A. McPherson, curator of the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, has been appointed to superintend vegetable production for New Zealand soldiers on duty in the Pacific Islands.
