Mr A. W. Greig, of Auckland, has been re-elected president of the New Zealand Timber Merchants’ Association.
Flying-Officer J. A. Kircaldie, of Wellington, is staying at the Hamilton Hotel.
Owing to ill-health Mr Edgar James, Mayor of Cambridge, was granted three months’ leave of absence at the meeting of the Cambridge Borough Council last night. Messrs F. N. Jones (Wellington), N. P. Svenson (Wanganui), T. C. Dunnion, Davidson, G. Bailey (Auckland) and J. G. McKenzie (Te Kuiti) are at the Commercial Hotel.
Flight-Lieutenant L. C. Hansen and Flying-Officer E. E. Pittock, of Wellington, have arrived in London and are attached to the New Zealand air liaison office, says a message from London.
