PROPORTION OF SMALL C ARS iHy Telegraph.- Pre>s Association) AUCKLAND, Monday A recommendation that a proportion of taxi fleets should consist of small cars to carry one or two passengers was received by the No. 1 Transport Licensing Authority, Mr E. J. Phelan, &:om the Commissioner of Transport, Mr G. L. Laurenson, on behalf of the Land Transport Advisory Committee. Mr Laurenson Wrote that the tyre position was critical.
