ESTIMATES AT GYMKHANA The weight-guessing competitions at the gymkhana promoted by the A.B.C. executive in the Popular Girl contest have been checked, and the results are as follows:—Cow: actual weight 670i1b; nearest estimates, E. Taylor 6581 b. C. O’Neill 7131 b. Three sheep: Actual weight, 205i1b: nearest estimates, L. C. Vickers 204£1b. 1; D. Desmond 2071 b, and P. Patterson 2041 b (equal), 2. Pig: Actual weight, 77£lb; nearest estimates. V. Harris, H. D. Austin and C. C. Cook, each 781 b. The aggregate weight of cow, sheep and pig was 95.3i1b. and the nearest estimate was that of W. E. Atkinson, 9341 b.
