POPULAR GIRL CONTEST
BAROMETER SHOWS PROGRESS Keen interest in the big Popular Girl Contest barometer in front of the Waikato Times was shown by the public today. The barometer, graduated in number of votes, shows clearly the positions of the contestants, whose committees are required to pay in £SO, representing 400 vote*, before a change is recorded on the barometer. Today the Public Service , candidate was shown to have a substantial lead.
