“INCIDENT CLOSED”
MR CASEY’S APPOINTMENT ((Jolted Press Ass*<.—Ere** Tel. Copyright) CANBERRA, March 25 Mr J. Curtin, Prime Minister, stated that so far as he was concerned the incident concerning Mr R. G. Casey’s appointment to the Middle East and to a seat in the British War Cabinet was closed. He intended tomorrow to formally table the correspondence between Mr Churchill and himself and Mr Casey, but would not move that the papers be printed, which would deprive the House of the opportunity of a general debate.
