FALL FROM HORSE
FATE OF SCHOOLBOY GISBORNE, Friday A schoolboy received fatal injuries at Puha as a result of a fall from a horse while returning from school, and a companion who was riding on the same horse was also injured and taken to hospital. The victims were:—lan David Rees, aged five, son of Mr and Mrs S. W. Rees, Puha, who was killed, and John Cahill, aged eight, who received injuries to the head. Cahill’s condition is not serious. There were uo witnesses of Uie accident.
