TRIAL BLACK-OUT
HUNTLY PEOPLE CO-OPERATE (Special to Times) HUNTLY, Friday The first trial black-out in Huntly, Huntly West, Kimlhia and Starr town under the Emergency Precautions Scheme was held rrom 8.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. last evening. The general effect viewed rrom the hospital \va- considered very satisfactory and the public co-operated well. The Mayor and chier Warden. Mr G. Smith, expressed himseir as very pleased with the result. A few housholders in various parts of tho town failed to comply with the regulations and were duly warned by E.P.S. wardens. The warning signals and all clear sounded by sirens and engine whistles were effective. The Limited express passd slowly through the darkened station with dimmed lights.
