GERMANS IN RUSSIA RUSSIANS RECAPTURE TOWN (United Press assp—Elec. Tel. copyriK&t) LONDON, Dec. 10 On all fronts in Russia the Germans appeared to have lost the initiative. A Berlin spokesman said tomgnt that Germany had no strategic gains to make in Russia this winter and the hope to capture Moscow before Christmas had been abandoned and the city would have to be left until next spring. The Russians claim the recapture of a town 120 miles south of Tula, and elsewhere on the entire front they are giving the invaders no rest.
