PETROL RE-INSTATED TRAINING ATTENDANCES Notification has been received from the Government by the No. 4 Group Director of the Home Guard, Lieu-tenant-Colonel R. D. McFarland, M.C., that the allowance of petrol for Home Guard training has been re-instated.
A week ago instructions were received that petrol for transporting troops to and from parades and for field exercises had been very drastically cut but the Government has decided to restore the petrol issue to what was customary a fortnight ago.
