“SHELTER FOOT”
OUTBREAK IN LONDON (United Press Assn.— Elec Tel. Copyright) (Received Dec. 10, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 9 “Shelter foot,” which is sixrtiKr to “trench foot.” is appearing among London’s shelter dwellers. Dr Raymond Greene, in an article in the Lancet says: “Two ills related to frost-bite and ‘trench foot’ will be recognised in this war. One is ‘shelter foot’ and the other is ‘immersion foot,” which affects those who, after a shipwreck, have been forced to spend long periods in water-logged boats.
