HAMILTON EAST DISPLAY That children should be encouraged In decorative work and gardening- was the advice given by Mrs F. D. Pinfold at the opening of the St. John’s Helpers’ League amateur llower show, held in bt. Juliu s Methodist Hall, Hamilton East, on Saturday afternoon. At. the conclusion of her talk Mrs Pinfold ga*' a demonstration of how to make a snouider spray. The judges stated that the class of work was up to the standard of the Horticultural Society and so even was the quality that they had great difficulty in separating the first and second places.
