200 PEOPLE KILLED
RAID ON AIK BASES (United Press Assn. —Eiec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Dec. 9, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 8 A Manila message says 200 persons were killed at the Parkfield airbase, in the Philippines.
Pan-American Airways’ base at Guam and the Pacific Cable Company’s office were heavily strafed. Planes came down almost to ground level. The N.B.C. at Los Angeles heard the Tokio radio announce that Japanese planes had bombed the Philippine Island of Palawan.
