OBITUARY
MRS J. L. JOHNSTON The death has occurred at her home in Tamahere of Mrs Ella Florence Johnston, wife of Mr J. L. Johnston, at the age of 49. Mrs Johnston, who for many years was head teacher at Tamahere School, won considerable popularity among the children by her interest in the various school activities, including the organisation of concerts and bazaar work. She took an active part in district affairs and her ready sympathy gave her a large circle of friends. Mrs Johnson is survived by her husband and a daughter.
