RETURN TO WELLINGTON WAR IN THE PACIFIC (By Telegrapn. —Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday In view of the latest developments in the Pacific, the Governor-General Sir Cyril Newall, has returned to Wellington. In consequence their Excellencies are obliged to postpone their contemplated visit to Invercargill, Gore and Dunedin, which had been arranged for this week. Lady Newall will remain in Christchurch to fulfill her present engagements.
