AIR FORCE RECRUITS

FURTHER PERSONNEL REQUIRED Many more recruits are required for the various branches of the Royal New Zealand Air Force , stated an Air Force recruiting officer in Hamilton today. Enlistments are being sought for pilots, flight mechanics and flight riggers, wireless operators and After armourers and instrument repairers. Men over the age of 18 years in this group desiring to serve in the Air Force will, if accepted for service, be exempted from military training, territorial or overseas. Some technical qualifications are necessary in all these groups with the exception of pilots, for whom the main requirements are a high standard of physical fitness and two years of post-primary education. Reserves in this group are being built up as far as possible and there is at present no limit on the number of enlistments.
