Peter Pan’s Letter

DEAR GIRLS AND BOYS,— Such a busy time the Weather Man has been having these days trying to keep the Wind Elves under control, hasn’t he? The other day as Peter was walking down the street there were lots and lots of little people, and grown-ups, too, trying to keep their hats on their heads, for those naughty wind fairies seem to delight in whisking them away down the street. Peter took the Wendy Person out to see their old friend, the bush, the other day and such lots of treasures there were to be found. Starry clematis was flowering in profusion, and very pretty they looked too with their white satin petals sprinkled with fairy dew. Then there were hawthorn trees covered with starry white blossoms, and one tiny fantail was busy starting to build its new home. Arum lilies seem to be blooming in profusion and here and there are tiny pink blossoms peeping from brown casings on the nectarine trees. And now lots of love to you all, little people, with hopes for golden days of sunshine and garden beauties of your own. From your own PETER PAJ*
