SWITCH TOUCHED
POWER SHUT OFF OPPOSSUM NOT KILLED (By Telegraph.—Pres*; Association) OAMARU, Monday An oppossum which entered the Weston electricity sub-station on Saturday evening caused a switch to blow out resulting in a stoppage of power throughout North Otago for 20 minutes. The animal happened to stand on a rubber mat wlien touching the switch and was not killed.
