MRS ROSIE WELCOMED
P. & T. WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION A very pleasant afternoon was held by the Post and Telegraph Women’s Association in the lounge of the Y.W.C.A. on Wednesday. The president, Mrs Bramley, presided over a large attendance and welcomed Mrs Rosie, wife of the Chief Postmaster, Mrs Clifford and Mrs Bruce. Mrs Rosie agreed to be patroness of the association. The Rev. Richards, recently arrived from Wales, gave a very interesting talk of his experiences in England and his trip out to New Zealand. Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames Given, Nicholas and Arns. Among those present were:—Mesdames Ineson, Shersen, R. Smith (Auckland), Stephens, Bruce, Rosie, Tyler, Clifford, Tregnatha, Buckland, Green, Cameron, Paice, Bromley, Gibbens, Nicholas, Arns and Garnt.
