TEACHERS APPOINTED

POSTS IN WAIKATO The following Waikato teaching appointments were authorised yesterday by the Auckland Education Board: Head teacher: Mr J. J. McGuigan, Te Aroha District High School. Additional assistants: Miss H. M. Davis, Te Mata: Miss B. C. B. Horrobin, Te Kuiti District High School.

Hospital Board Intimation was received at the Waikato Hospital Board meeting today that Mr A. E. Missen, formerly of Hamilton, had been elected to the board to represent Rotorua County. Messrs J. M. Stewart (Piako), W. Morrice (Te Aroha-Morrinsville), T. Hinton and G. Smith (Waikato) were re-elected unopposed. Mr Missen replaces Mr H. M. Martin, who did not seek re-election.
