American Steel Output
The net income of the United States Steel Corporation for the first quarter of 1341 totalled 36,559.000 dollars, the highest of any quarter since 1929. in spite of record taxes. Plants were operating at a record ' ""level, of which 50 per cent was going to the defence programme.
