Wednesday Because or tile difficulties teams would be. faced with mm-eming travel and the securing of leave for players, the council or the New Zealand looiball Association has decided not to proceed with the Chatham Cup matches Tor the present season. It was agreed to carry on with the Football Association Trophy matches. The pooling system adopted last year will again ope.raie. it was also decided to carry on with the Brmvn Shield, but there will not be a_ subsidy for the Peter Dawson Cup The question or school tournaments was left in the hand-* of the districts concerned, consideration to he given to them when applications to hold them were received. Affiliation Tees for the -season were fixed at £.’. r.s ror major associations and £2 2s for minor associations.
