MEDICAL BENEFITS SCHEME OPENS TOMORROW (I3y Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday Two notices appearing in tonight’s Gazette are of interest as affecting the Social Security Act. One of these fixes the fifteenth day of each calendar month as from Saturday next as the accounting period for the purpose of computing the amount payable from the Social Security fund to medical practitioners by way of capitation fee. The second Gazette notice states that medical benefits will be available throughout New Zealand on and after Saturday.
