Reading Material Required
Although there is a good supply of reading material for women available at the Waikato Hospital there is a great scarcity of reading material for men. In making an appeal for any reading material suitable for men to be left at the Dolly Varden the Hamilton Sunshine League acknowledges that the supplying of books and papers to military camps is one factor in the shortage. However, there is such a shortage of reading material to assisl the patients to pass the long hours in bed that any gifts would be greatly appreciated. The League acknow ledges an anonymous donation of El. this donation being received regularly every year at this time.
