SUVA HURRICANE
DAMAGE TO CAMI> FOUR SOLDIERS INJURED MILITARY FORCES ASSIST (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Tuesday The Government has received advice from Suva that the recent hurricane lasted for eight hours. The wind reached a velocity of 110 miles an hour with torrential rain. Trees were stripped and uprooted. Some damage was done to civil buildings and camps, and four soldiers received minor injuries. The weather is now fine and the situation normal. Warm appreciation has been expressed for the assistance given by the the military forces to Government departments in restoring communications and also for help rendered to the civil population.
