A WALKING TOUR
Setting a new style for spending her annual holiday, Miss Alwyn Nauman, a Dunedin shop girl, started last Saturday on a walk to Christchurch. Wearing a specially-made walking costume, and carrying a haversack on her back, she hopes to cover about thirty-seven miles a day and to reach Christchurch within a week. Miss Nauman, who is twenty-two years of age, has been training for the walk, and in practice she has done fortytwo miles in a day. She is a sister of the well-known athletes, R. E. Nauman and Miss E. Nauman.
