SUSPENSION REDUCED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELI.IXGTON, Wednesday The apprentice jockey R. G. Howell, who rode Rakahanga in the Telegraph Handicap on the first day or the recent Trentham meeting, appealed against his suspension for Iwo months cm a charge or careless riding. For its autumn meeting next month the Wellington Raring Club lias altered the order of running by placing the North I-land Challenge stakes on the programme for the first day and transferring the New Zealand st. Legcr Stakes to the second day.
