SPECIAL SUPPLEMENT DETAILS OF ALL CLASSES SPECIAL POULTRY PRIZE LIST With today’s issue of the Waikato Times is published a special supplement in connection with the Summer Show of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association, the dates of which are Friday and Saturday, November 1 and 2. The supplemen* contains *the official schedule and prize list in the horse, cattle, sheep and pig classes, and particulars of the sheep dog trials and sheepshearing competitions. Details of the national dancing contest are included, and attention is drawn to the 20th annual show of pedigree dogs, which is to be held in conjunction with the Summer Show. Also to be mentioned is the poultry section, in which there are nearly 100 classes and for which special prizes, a list of which is given below, are offering. Intending exhibitors and all others will find much of interest in the special issue. To facilitate the work of the show officials it is hoped that early use will be made of the entry form, which will be found on page 16. Also worthy of careful study are the announcements in the supplement by many manufacturing and retail firms. Redfern for the best essay by a school child on the subject of a talk to be given by Mr E. C. Jarrett, Poultry Instructor, on the best type of utility poultry. 5s presented by Mrs H. A. Judge as second prize for the above essay.
