SOVIET AMBASSADOR’S TOUR CHEERED IN EAST END (United Prev; A**n. — Fin Tel. Cnpvrlirht) LONDON. Oct. 12 The Soviet Am bn or. M. Maisky, and Madame Maisky, toured a number of London shelters on Friday night at the invitation of the Foreign Secretary. Viscount Halifax. They were accompanied by Admiral Sir Edward Evans. A crowd in a big shelter in the East End recognised M. Maisky and loudly cheered him.
