LEAGUE MEETING
SOLDIERS’ WIVES AND MOTHERS
The league of wives and mothers of ex-servicemen and men of the fighting forces recently held its fortnightly meeting, when there was a large attendance. Mrs D. I. Gate presided, and welcomed several new members. The business of the club was dealt with, and the donors of food for the Soldiers’ Club were given a hearty vote of thanks for their generosity. The next meeting will be held in the Hamilton Citizens’ Band room, Grantham Street, on October 15, when all soldiers’ wives and mothers are invited to be present.
