All Cattle must be paraded in the Grand Parade—extra leaders provided on application to Chief Steward. Grant Challenge Cup. S. B. Grant, Esq., presents a handsome Cup for yearly competition (not to be won outright) for Best Yearling Heifer, winner’s name to be engraved each year and Cup held from Show to Show. Present holder, Mr. R. D. Duxfield. N.Z. Milking Shorthorn Association will supply a miniature replica each year to winners of the Cup with name engraved. Messrs Kempthorne & Prosser Challenge Cup for most points in Milking Shorthorns. THIRLWALL CHALLENGE CUP. Mr. J. X. Thirlwall presents a Silver Challenge Perpetual Cup value £lO 10 - for best 3-year-old Heifer or Cow in milk. A miniature will be donated each year by the Waikato Branch of the N.Z.M.S. Association. The Waikato Branch X.Z.M.S.H. Association donates £l4 toward the prize money in this section. PEDIGREE FRIESIANS. Entry Fee—Members 6/-, non-members 10/-. All Cattle must take part in the Grand Parade—extra leaders provided on application to the Chief Steward. The N.Z. Friesian Association will donate a Medal for Most Points in the Pedigree Friesian Section on the following conditions:— (a) A Silver Medal (Engraved) where from 10 to 19 animals compete in the Pedigree Friesian Section. (b) A Gold Medal (Engraved) where 20 or more animals competes in the Pedigree Friesian Section. (c) All animals competing in the Pedigree Section must be registered or eligible for registration in the N.Z. Friesian Herd Book. (d) The judge of the Section must be an Official Judge of the Friesian Association. (e) Points to be awarded as follows:—lst 6 points, 2nd 4 points, 3rd 2 points, 4th 1 point, Champion 2 points, Reserve ChumGroup Classes and Classes for Pairs not to count for Points Prize.
