Borthwick Cup & Miniature. Judging at Horotiu.—Messrs. Thos. Borthwick and Sons (N.Z.) Ltd. donate a Silver Challenge Cup and miniature for the Horotiu Judging of the Chilling Steer Class. Class 83—District Group of 4 Steers suitable for chilling. Each dis trict to be restricted to one group, no owner to have prior right to more than one entry. First prize £6 Second Prize £3 Third prize £1 PEDIGREE CATTLE In order to encourage exhibitors from a distance, the Waikato A. and P. Association will refund half the railway freight payable on Herefords, Polled Angus, or Red Polls, travelling to the Show a distance of 200 miles or more. LEADERS OF CATTLE MUST WEAR WHITE COATS. The Committee will provide, free of charge, attendants to lead stock on application to Chief Steward. All attendants in charge of Stock must wear white coats and polished boots when in charge of exhibits during judging and on parade. All Cattle to be ready for Judging, Friday, November Ist, at 9 a.m. Entry Fee: Members 6/-, non-members 10/-. A Grand Parade of Horses and Cattle will be held in the Show at 2 p.m. on the Second Day. All animals that will lead must take part. Exhibitors failing t.o comply with this rule, or causing delay, shall be liable to a fine of £l, and prize winners to the forfeiture of prizes at the discretion of the Committee.
