PONY and JUVENILE EVENTS For Ponies 14.2 and under and riders under 16 years of age. Ponies must be measured before entering the ring. Prizes in all events will be—First £l, Second 12/6, Third 5/-, Fourth 2/6 —unless otherwise stated. Entry Fees 2/6 except where otherwise stated. FIRST DAY COMMENCING AT 10 A.M. Class 38—Pony, 12.2 or under, ridden by boy or girl under 12. Class 39 —Pony, 13.2 or under, ridden by bo.y or girl under 13. Class 40 Pony, 14.2 or under, ridden by boy or girl under 16. Champion Pony, 13 hands to 14.2—Ribbon to be awarded. Champion Pony under 13 hands—Ribbon to be awarded. Class 41—Boy or Girl Rider (on flat), under 9 years. Class 42—Girl Rider (on flat), under 11 years. Class *43—Boy Rider (on flat), under 11 years. Class 44—Girl Rider (on flat), under 13 years. Class 43—80 y Rider (on flat), under 13 years. Class 46—Girl Rider (on flat), under 16 years (Special Class). Mrs. Dimant, Remuera, presents a Silver Cup for Girl Rider under 16. to be won twice in succession or three times at intervals. The first 4 ponies in each heat are eligible to compete in the Grand Final on payment of additional entry fee of 10/-. (Post Entry 7). Prizes—First £B, Second £4, Third £2, Fourth £l. SECOND DAY JUDGING WILL NOT COMMENCE BEFORE 10 A.M. Class 50—Senior Team. For teams of 4 well-matched ponies over 12.2, ridden by boys or girls under 16 years. Teams to be drilled and judged. 50 points appearance, 50 points drill. Prizes—First £l/10/-, Second 10/-. No Entry fee. (Special Class.) Class 51—Junior Team. Conditions as for Senior Team, but ponies 12.2 or under and riders under 13 years. Prizes —First £l/10/-, Second 10/-. No Entry fee. (Special Class). Class 52—Best turned out Rider. Pony and Equipment. This Class will be divided by the Judge into Senior and Junior and prizes as above paid in each division. (Special Class.) Class 53—Pony Hunter. 12.2 and under. Riders under 13 years. (Special Class). Class 54—Pony Hunter, 13.2 and under. Riders under 14 years. (Special Class).
