BRIDGE AFTERNOON
CAMBRIDGE LYCEUM CLUB When the bridge circle of the Cambridge Lyceum Club met on Tuesday afternoon, Mrs O. Gane and Mrs J. S. Russell were the hostesses to about 40 members. Unusual and striking effects were introduced with the floral decorations, a large bowl of native rata being the centre of admiration, while vases of Solomon’s Seal were placed about the club rooms.
Among the players were: Mesdames S. Lewis, D. M. Bourke, Willoughby, House, E. J. F. Kennedy, R. J. Neely, H. P. Nelson, A. N. Macky, R. S. Hanna, H. E. Hayward, E. E. Coote, D. J. Lundon, L. Mahoney, J. C. Latimer, W. Harbutt Snr., E. J. Nickle, A. H. Nicoll, A. J. Law, H. C. Tod, W. Munroe, J. Butler, J. W. Garland, W. S. McW. F. Rush, H. E. Amyes, W. McKenzie, G. Cleland, Jeffrey, Roy Fisher, M. Goodwin, K. Butler, A. H. Brindle, T. K. Butler, Jasper Smith, D. K. McMillan, I. Fairbrother, A. H. Clayton and Miss S. Brann.
