RUSHING PRODUCTION OF FIGHTING PLANES Shown “on the line” are some of America’s latest fast, highly-manoeuvrable Curtiss P-40 advanced pursuit planes now rapidly being rolled off the production line in the recently-expanded Buffalo factory of the Curtiss-Wright Corporation. In acordance with a record peace-time order from the War Department for more than 14,000,000 dollars worth of these fighting planes, they are being produced at a rate which has broken all records for combat plane production for the United States.
