SINGLE-PARTY SYSTEM
COMMISSION IN JAPAN “A TOTALITARIAN TINGE” (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) TOKIO, August 23 prince Konoye has appointed a preparatory commission to establish a single party political system. The commissioners are drawn from all fields of political and industrial life. However, the opinion is expressed that the selections indicate a totalitarian tinge. They include Admiral Suetsugu, Colonel Hashimoto, an Axis alliance advocate, Mr Seigo Nakano, exAmbassadbr to Italy, two journalists and Rightist and Leftist political leaders.
