FROM NORWEGIAN STEAMER ATTACH BY U-BOAT (United Press Assn. —Zlec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 16, 3.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 15 The Norwegian steamer Thermopylane, of 6655 tons, sent “ 5.0.5.” signals giving its position as 38.25 north, 66.30 west. It was evidently being attacked by a submarine. The Mackay radio states that the Thermopylane, when she was questioned, asserted that she was not in distress but was being tracked by a mystery ship.
