PERSONAL
The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, who has been on a short visit to Rotorua, joined the limited express at Frankton last night on his way to Wellington. Mr S. Tombs, of Auckland, is visiting Hamilton. Mr W. J. Broadfoot, M.P. for Waitomo, was in Hamilton yesterday. Messrs F. E. Ellisdon, D. N. McGregor (Auckland), F. W. Seeton (Hawera) and E. D. Brown (Waipukurau) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr E. Caradus, Director of Educational Services of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, who is senior inspector of secondary schools in New Zealand, is visiting Hamilton. The Hon. W. Lee Martin, Minister of Agriculture, who has been visiting Auckland, left today for Tauranga to meet citrus growers whose orchards are afflicted with citrus canker.
Messrs S. N. Ziman and E. H .Grocott have been nominated by the Hamilton Rotary Club to form a Hamilton Auxiliary Committee to whom reference can be made for particulars of crippled children from the Hamilton Borough and Waikato district who are inmates of the Wilson Home in Auckland. The committee must have the official recognition of the local bodies concerned. Yesterday the Waikato County Council approved of the twe nominations.
