UNDESIRABLE ALIEN
CASE OF HARRY BRIDGES (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) WASHINGTON, Aug. 13 The Immigration Committee of the Senate has recommended that the Attorney-General should investigate the case of Harry Bridges, the Aus-tralian-born leader of the Pacific Coast longshoremen, to determine whether he can be deported as an undesirable alien. This is substituted for the bill' which the House of Representatives passed on June 13 aiming at the deportation of Bridges.
