BRITAIN AND DOMINIONS COMMITMENTS IN EUROPE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 7, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, August 6 Mr C. R. Attlee, in the House of Commons, gave an assurance that the Government would not enter into any permanent obligations on the Continent of Europe without the fullest consultation with the Dominion Governj ments, with which it had maintained, and would continue to maintain, the closest touch on all aspects of foreign policy.
