ARRESTS IN FRANCE
PILFERING FROM SHOPS ALLEGATIONS BY GERMANY IMPERTINENT FRENCH PRESS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 5, 11 a.m.) LONDON, August 5 The German radio stated that 250 people have been arrested in the neighbourhood of Lyons on charges of pilfering from homes and shops. “The French press a few weeks ago impertinently accused German soldiers of this plundering,” it said.
