CHILD SAT UP AND CRIED (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) TAUPO, Monday A remarkable escape from serious injury was experienced by Peter O’Reilly, aged three, when he fell from a fast-moving motor-car. The child was in the back seat with his mother and twin brother, in a car being driven by his father, Mr James O’Reilly, of Taupo. When the car was about a mile north of Wairakei, proceeding to Rotorua, the door suddenly flew open, and the child fell to the road. When picked up he was sitting up crying, but was found to be free of any injuries, even bruises, and was only suffering from fright, from which he quickly recovered.
