SHORTAGE OF PETROL
CONDITIONS IN FRANCE MOTOR TRAFFIC REDUCED PROMISE BY GERMANY (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) VICHY, Aug. 2 The Minister of Labour announced that as a result of the shortage of petrol motor traffic is being reduced to a tenth of its former proportions. France is negotiating with “certain countries” for fresh supplies. Germany has guaranteed not to requisition the petrol which France succeeded in importing.
