HAMILTON BOXING
FIXTURE FOR TO-NIGHT CALTAUX TO MEET ROBERTSON Under the auspices of the Hamilton Boxing Association, a professional bout between Vic. Caltaux (Auckland) and Henry Robertson (Auckland), will take place in the Frankton Town Hall to-night. Over ten rounds, the welter-weight contest may be expected to maintain the high standard that has prevailed in the last few bouts in Hamilton and should produce even fighting. Caltaux needs no introduction to followers of the sport in the Waikato, for he has always acquitted himself creditably in his former bouts under the Hamilton Boxing Association, and to-night he can be expected to give a glimpse of the form which has earned him the welterweight title of the Dominion In Robertson he will meet a boxer who has only recently joined the ranks of the professionals, but one who has given a good account of himself throughout his amateur career. He is a hard hitter with plenty of stamina and can be relied upon to carry his share of the attack. Among the six amateur preliminaries will be a bout between Vic Dye, of Matamata, and G. Sharpies, of Auckland.
