PLUNKET SOCIETY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Hamilton branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Plunket rooms, the president, Mrs N. E. Blomfield, presiding. The following nurses’ reports for June were tabled:—Hamilton, visits to rooms, adults 627, babies 624, older children 30, total 1281. New cases 30, visits to homes 107. Frankton: Visits to rooms, adults 219, babies 202, older children 17. Total 438. New cases 10, visits to homes 50. Raglan and Te Mata: Visits to rooms, adults 10, babies 11, older children 1. Total 22. New cases 2. The society agreed to take charge of the Red Cross shop on July 23 and members and their friends are requested to provide goods to sell. The secretary was asked to send a cheque for ten guineas to the Karitane Hospital at Auckland as a donation towards its expenses. Visitors to Plunket House at the Centennial Exhibition numbered 100,000. The annual meeting will be held in the rooms (behind the library) on Friday, July 26, 3 p.m.
