Mrs F. E. Fisher, Hamilton, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Miss Ruth Vosper, Matamata, is visiting Tauranga. Mrs W. Chapman, Morrinsville, is visiting Wanganui and is staying with her mother, Mrs Strode-Penny. Mrs G. E. A. Wilkes, Hamilton, left today to spend a holiday in Auckland as the guest of Mrs M. Lyons. Mrs John Tietjens, Mrs C. S. MacNally and Mrs C. S. Benge, Hamilton, spent the week-end at the Chateau Tongariro. • * * • Mrs Hugh Crawford, who has been for seme time secretary-hostess at the National Club, has returned to her home in Whangarei. Mrs John Prcnton, Hamilton, who has been visiting Auckland for the elimination drama festival, has returned home «• T * • Mrs A. E. Sandford. Hamilton, who has been visiting Wellington as the guest of Miss E. Hayes, has returned home. Misses Heather Pierce, Val Ussher, Jean Robertson. Betty Ryan, Norma Rowe, Enid Gilman, Phil Kear, Beatrice and Estelle St. Paul and T. Harkness were week-end visitors from Hamilton to the Chateau Tongariro. The Queen of Rarotonga, known as Mrs Tiwi Love, wife of Captain Love, who is in England with the Maori Battalion, and daughter-in-law of Mr Hapi Love, of Petone, is to leave New Zealand to assume her regal responsibilities in August or September.
