PASSENGER SCHEDULE HAMILTON-ROTORUA TRIPS CONNECTIONS WITH TRAINS The temporary schedule of road passenger services between Auckland, Hamilton and Rotorua fixed by the No. 1 Transport Licensing Authority, to operate from Wednesday, provides for connections with trains running between Frankton and Auckland. The schedule is to be reviewed at the end of the month. A week-day trip from Frankton to Rotorua will connect with the first express from Auckland. This will leave Frankton at 5.45 p.m., Hamilton at 6 p.m. and arrive at Rotorua at 8.30 p.m. From Monday to Saturday a service leaving Rotorua at 7 a.m. will connect with the 9.35 fast passenger train for Auckland from Frankton. This train reaches Auckland at 1.37 p.m. The schedule provides also for a service from Auckland to Rotorua, leaving Auckland at 7.30 a.m. and returning from Rotorua at 3.15 p.m. Both of these services will pick up and drop passengers at Hamilton. The car from Auckland will arrive at Hamilton at 10.15 a.m., departing at 10.30 a.m.. and the one from Rotorua, which will be a connecting link for Napier and Gisborne passengers. will arrive at 5.30 p.m. and will wait for half-an-hour.
