HAMILTON GOLF
PLAY AT ST ANDREWS MONTHLY OPEN DAY With very favourable conditions prevailing, the monthly open day of the Hamilton Golf Club was held at St Andrew’s Links yesterday. Competition was keen throughout and a good standard of play was witnessed. The 36-hole gross medal was won by G. Armstrong with a score of 76, 73-149, and the senior net 36hole medal was won by E. Trew (Lochiel) whose card read 88, 86-24-150. The junior net 36-hole medal was won by L. Chitty with a score of 95, 92-36-151. N. Ross won the morning bogey with a score of 2 up, and the afternoon stableford went to R. Cann with 36 points.
