BAPTISTS CONFER
SOUTH AUCKLAND AUXILIARY The annual conference of the South Auckland Baptist Auxiliary was held in Morrinsville, 42 delegates attending. A welcome was extended to the Rev. T. R. Page, of Putaruru, and the Rev. L. P. Bryan, of Tauranga, who recently arrived in the district. Encouraging Church reports were received. The evening public meeting was addressed by the Rev. H. G. Hercus, of Sydney, the topic being “Redemption.” The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Rev. J. Carlisle; president-elect, Mr J. Trevarton; president, Mr F. H. Perrott; secretary, Rev. E. T. Jones; treasurer, Mr J. Voisey; hon. solicitor, Mr E. McGregor; hon. auditor, Mr R. G. P. Brownless. The invitation was accepted to hold the conference at Putaruru next year.
